"The owner here is super nice, and Judy is also the best! Stopped by late night because I saw the reviews were great, and man, the service AND ice cream didn't disappoint! They made time to show me the place, as well as recommended flavors I try! I really enjoyed chatting with them, their place, and the lactose-free ice cream was the bomb! Would definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in the area!"

"We walked in and were in awe immediately! The vibe and atmosphere is so cool! We were greeted by the owner who told us he makes his ice cream daily and has alternatives if dairy upsets the tummy! The lady who got us our ice cream was so helpful and kind and showed us the back room that was such a cool lounge with lots to look at and to busy yourself. They have more games then I've ever seen a place have and lots of seats to chill in. It reminded me of an ice lounge without the ice! We spent about 45 minutes there but definitely could have been there longer! The ice cream was also delicious! We will be back and I will be telling everyone about this place"

"Staying in midtown Phoenix and got a craving for icecream. This was close and only 3 minutes away on an easy access corner. Lix sounded so unique I had to try it! The super friendly staff joked and were a lot of fun. I tried nearly all of the flavors, and I'd of happily had any of them! I heard so many names that I'm not sure what two I chose...it didn't matter because I loved all of them! Support this local, quirky gem of an icecream shop!!"

"​The moment I stepped through the door of LIX Uptown Ice Cream, my life was fundamentally changed. Was it the divine smell of sugar and pure joy? No. It was the presence of a truly magnificent, giant, pink stuffed gorilla. At that point, I knew two things: 1) I was in for a treat (pun absolutely intended), and 2) I was about to find my spirit animal. ​The owner, Rich, is a wonderful human whose passion for ice cream could power a small city. He's basically the Willy Wonka of the frozen dairy world—except, blessedly, with no creepy tunnel rides. He insisted we sample his many flavors, guiding us through a lactose-free landscape of deliciousness. Yes, you read that right: all the ice cream is lactose-free! My stomach and I are now sending him a joint thank-you card. ​We eventually migrated to the sitting lounge, clutching our homemade waffle cones full of frozen perfection. The smooth, rich flavors were so good, I had to stop myself from asking for a mortgage application just to live there permanently. ​Our only tragedy? Rich had made his own version of the Choco-Taco, but had tragically run out. My face must have betrayed my profound grief, because he quickly pointed out that "Taco Tuesday" was tomorrow. A clear sign from the ice cream gods that I must return. ​Verdict: I'm planning my next visit (and the one after that, and the one after that...). After all, that kind of dedicated indulgence requires a rigorous training schedule. So, I'll definitely go again and again. Then, and only then, will I roll myself directly to the gym."

"Hands down coolest ice cream shop I’ve ever been to. All the flavors are lactose sensitive and it’s some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had, genuinely. Biscoff flavor was insane. The vibes are immaculate, owners are super friendly, water bottles are free and there’s a sick lounge in the back. I will absolutely be back and this will be a stop with out of town guests. Can’t speak highly enough. Come check it out!!!"

"Fun and eclectic place to get ice cream. I tried various flavors to include PB&J, mango sticky rice, Thai tea, and lavender fig goat cheese. All were fantastic! We enjoyed our ice cream in the relaxed seating area that has a variety of fun things to look at. Interesting fact that all the ice cream is lactose free."
